ANGELES CITY- Two Nigerians passing themselves off as religious pastors were arrested in Barangay Amsic here yesterday morning in a police buy-bust sting that yielded 50 grams of shabu in their possession.

A police report said the operation was carried out by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit and the Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit at 2nd St., Plaridel II Subdivision in Amsic.

A report sent to Central Luzon police director Chief Supt. Amador Corpus identified the foreign nationals as Christopher Chukwuma, 33, and Ben Okoye y Onyeka, 34, both residents in the area where they were arrested.

They were found with 50 grams of shabu with street value worth P150,000, the report said.

Probers quoted neighbors saying the two foreigners have been promoting themselves as religious pastors of an unknown sect.

The report said the Nigerians failed to present any passport and that the police has coordinated with the Bureau of Immigration to obtain more information about them.

The foreigners were charged with possession and trading of illegal drugs.
