OLONGAPO CITY – Two parking attendants were arrested in the act of dealing shabu along the shoreline of Garden View Beach in Barangay Barretto here.
Police Station 6 officer-in-charge Capt. Wrigley T. Zafra identified the suspects as Andrew Cruz y Fontecha, 35, of No. 134 Gordon Avenue, Barangay Kalalake; and Moris Baltero y Reña, 49, of No. 17, Rodriguez Street, Barangay Mabayuan, both in Olongapo City.
Zafra said at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, a confidential agent reported to Police Station 6 that an illegal transaction of drugs was in progress Garden View Beach, prompting his men to conduct a drug operation.
Recovered from suspects were three transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 0.030 grams worth P500.
The suspects are detained detained at Police Station 6 facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
