ABUCAY, Bataan – Operatives of the provincial police intelligence branch and the Abucay police arrested two men in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Laon here at 10:00 p.m. of Wednesday.
PO1 Carlito Delpon of the police intelligence branch identified suspects as Rigor Agranum, 36, driver, and Edwin Tria, 49, mason; both residents of Laon.
“May sumbong sa opisina kaya kumilos kami at salamat at naging matagumpay naman ang operasyon,” he said.
Confiscated from suspects were four plastic sachet of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, two marked P500-bills and two cellphones.
Police made the preliminary documentation of the suspects and the inventory of the evidences right at the barangay where the buy-bust operation took place. The hood of the police patrol car served as office table.
Many villagers watched as their barangay captain signed documents as to the confiscated items. Agranum and Tria were brought to the Bataan police provincial office in Balanga City for proper documentation and filing of case.
SPO3 Danilo Nazareno upon orders of Intelligence Officer Supt. Allan Macapagal led the late evening raid in the heavy-populated village.
Senior Supt. Ricardo Zapata, Bataan police director, said suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
