Upon consummation of the transaction, a pre-arranged signal was given and the law enforcers pounced on the suspects for “selling /transacting/transporting wildlife animals without necessary permit from DENR.”

Recovered from Calilong were two racket-tailed parrots valued at P7,000.

The rescued ducks and parrots were turned-over to DENR-PENRO, Guagua Pampanga while the arrested suspects are presently detained at the BMPS facing charges for violation of RA 9147 (Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act) in relation to R.A 10175 (Cyber Crime).
