ORION, Bataan — Police on Tuesday reported the arrest of two suspected drug peddlers and the confiscation of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagumbayan here.
Major Jeffrey S. Onde, Orion police chief, said those apprehended were Manuel de Guzman, 56, and tricycle driver Alvin Villegas, 48, both of Bagumbayan.
Confiscated from De Guzman and Villegas were two small heat-sealed and two large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing scale and the buy-bust money.
The two were apprehended in a raid conducted by members of the Orion municipal police station, Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Cases for violation of Sections 5, 11 & 12 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are being readied for filing against the suspects.
