SUBIC, Zambales — Two suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of the Subic police drug enforcement unit in a buy-bust in Barangay Mangan-Vaca here.
Subic police chief Captain Rolando identified the suspects as Sonny Dalit y Mariano, 30, and Jesus Mariano y Muyano, 49, both of Purok 2, Barangay Magsaysay, Castillejos. The suspects are in the police drug watch list.
Police said the suspected were arrested in the act of selling a sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer at about 4:25 p.m. on Sept. 9.
Recovered from the suspects were the buy-bust item of one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, the P500 bill marked money, eight other transparent plastic sachets of shabu wighing more than one gram, a coin purse, and one Rusi 125 motorcycle with plate number CA 77338 with sidecar with body number 0063.
The suspects are detained at Subic police detention cell facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 before the City Prosecutors Office.
