IBA, Zambales — Two members of a drug group also involved in gunrunning were arrested by police operatives in a buy-bust in San Marcelino town on Feb. 28.
CIDG Zambales chief Major Jonathan Mosteles said joint elements of the San Marcelino police, provincial intelligence unit, and his group conducted the operation at San Miguel Hardware and Construction Supplies, Purok 1, Barangay Nagbunga Highway in San Marcelino that led to the arrest of Angelito Manglicmot y Ragasa, of Purok 4, East Dirita, San Antonio, Zambales; and Mark Christopher Laguitan y Pantig, 28, of Purok 3, Dallipawen, San Narciso, Zambales.
Seized from the suspects were one .45 pistol 1911 model with engraved brand Gold Cup with serial number 181831, one magazine assembly .45 pistol, 14 pieces of live ammunition for .45 pistol; one green sling bag, one genuine P1,000 bill (marked money) with serial number MM264387, and 29 pieces of P1,000 bill (boodle money).
The suspects are now under the custody of CIDG Zambales Provincial Field Unit.
