CIDG Zambales provincial officer Chief Inspector Edgar Balagso identifi ed the suspects as Bernard Payawal y Like of No. 4A Alba Street, Barangay East Tapinac, Olongapo City and Epifanio Munar y Bernardo of Santa Elena Village, Sitio Bukid, Barangay Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.
The suspects were arrested by virtue of a search warrant issued by Executive Judge Roline Ginez-Jabalde of RTC Branch 74, Olongapo City.
Recovered from Munar were one .45 pistol, one 12 gauge shot gun and ammunitions, while in the possession of Payawal were one .45 pistol, one 5.56 baby Armalite rffle, five magazines for .45 pistol, 43 live ammunitions for .45 and 38 live ammunitions for 5.56 mm.
The suspects failed to present legal document of said firearms.
Both suspects are detained at CIDG Zambales detention cell facing charges for violations of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunitions).
