OLONGAPO CITY — Operatives of Police Station 6 of the Olongapo City Police Office arrested two suspected drug pushers in Barangay Barretto here Monday.
PS6 commander Capt. Wrigley Tiglao Zafra identified the suspects as Aries Habacon y Esguerra, 44, of No. 44 Samar Street, Barangay Barretto; and Roberto Soriano y Melegrito, 42, parking attendant, of No. 27 Fendler Street, Barangay New Asinan.
Police said a “concerned citizen” informed them that at about 5 p.m. on June 8, an illegal drug transaction was ongoing at National Highway corner Samar Street prompting police authorities to conduct operation and nabbed the two suspects.
Recovered from the suspects were three transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 0.092 grams with a street value of P1,500.
The suspects are detained at PS6 detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
