SAN MARCELINO, Zambales -Two suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of Zambales PNP in separate drug operations here and in Castillejos town.
Police Captain Janice R. Piga, head of San Marcelino Municipal Police Station, identified one suspect as Mario Vicente y Fernando, aka “Jong,” a resident of Castillejos.
Vicente was arrested along WLAC Road in Barangay Nagbunga selling sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer. Confiscated from him were the sting money and two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.
Back in August 30, 2017, the suspect, along with two others, was arrested through a search warrant and charged for violating Sections 13 and 14 under Article II of R.A. 9165 but was found “not guilty” by the judicial court.
In Castillejos, a51-year-old man was nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Del Pilar by the Narcotics Unit of Castillejos Municipal Police Station led by Police Major Joe Louies I. Lo, Jr.
Police identified the suspect as one Carlito Punzalan, jobless, and a resident of the said barangay. Recovered from him were four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, and the P500 marked money.
Both suspects face charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Olongapo City
