BALANGA City, Bataan: The Philippine National Police in three separate raids in Bataan arrested three individuals and confiscated two firearms and shabu worth P95,200.
The quick response team of the PNP arrested a male individual with loose firearm in Orani, Bataan on Sunday.
Bataan police director Col. Palmer Tria said operatives of the Orani municipal police station responded to a heated confrontation in Barangay Pantalan Bago that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and the confiscation of a caliber .38 revolver with four live ammunition.
Complaint for violation of Republic Act 10591 or COMELEC Res. No. 11067 of the Omnibus Election Code will be filed against the suspect
In Abucay, Bataan, a man was arrested and shabu and firearm confiscated during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Laon on Sunday.
Col. Tria said operatives from the Abucay municipal police station in coordination with PDEA in Region 3 conducted the raid that led in the confiscation of nine grams of shabu with equivalent amount of P61,200 and a caliber .38 pistol with three live ammunition.
Charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 Art. II of RA 9165, COMELEC Res. No. 11067 (Omnibus Election Code) and RA 10591 will be filed against the suspect.
A drug peddler was nabbed and shabu worth P34,000 was confiscated during buy bust operation in Barangay Lamao in Limay, Bataan Friday.
PD Tria said the drug enforcement unit of the Limay municipal police station conducted the raid that resulted in the confiscation of about five grams of shabu.
