DINALUPIHAN, Bataan — A rider and his pillion passenger died when the motorcycle they were on was hit from behind by a car along the highway in Barangay Luakan here at dawn of Thursday.
Bataan police director Col. Romell Velasco said the rescue team declared dead on the spot rider Joshua Garcia, 26, sangguniang kabataan kagawad of Barangay Layac and Jayson Valmadrid, 26, of Barangay Sto. Nino, both of Dinalupihan.
Report showed that both vehicles were travelling in the same direction towards Dinalupihan town proper when for still unknown reason the car driven by Oliver del Rosario, 26, of Barangay Saguing, Dinalupihan, allegedly bumped the motorcycle from behind. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.
Velasco said the Dinalupihan municipal police station is readying cases for double homicide and damage to property against the car driver.
