Chief Inspector Leonardo Madrid, Subic PNP chief, identified the first suspect as Anthony Groesbeck, resident of La Union St., Barangay Barretto, Olongapo City.
The suspect was arrested by Inspector Johnathan Mostoles and SPO4 Urfendo Abadilla of ZPHPT by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of carnapping laws with P180,000 recomended bail.
In Olongapo City, police led by Senior Inspector Ramon Fernandez, Police Station 5 chief, and SPO1 Angelito Gapay of ZPHPT, arrested suspect Jimmy Elumbaring, 23, resident of Block 12, Ipil- Ipil St., Barangay Gordon Heights, Olongapo City by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of carnapping laws with a bail of P180,000.
Elumbaring was also arrested for estafa with a bail of P6,000 for his temporary liberty.
Police also recovered from the suspect three transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu. He is now in custody of Police Station 5 facing charges violation of Section 11, Article ll of RA 9165.
Meanwhile, in Castillejos, Zambales Senior Inspector Pancho Doble and Senior Inspector Rolando Dellezo recovered in Barangay Sta. Maria an abandoned Toyota Hilux (ZNE-997) registered with the Zambales Dizon Mining Consolidated Inc.
