Reports reaching the office of Zambales Police Provincial Office Director, Senior Supt. Rolando Felix, identified the fatalities as as Gaspar and Jose Grande, both residents of Barangay Lucero, San Marcelino, Zambales.
The brothers suffered head injuries and died on the spot, while their cousin Delmar Duran, 21, was brought to the San Marcelino District Hospital for medical treatment.
Inspector Jerry Haduca, Castillejos PNP Chief, said that at about 6:30 a.m., the three were on board a single motorcycle (6185-RE) going to work when they raced with another motorcycle until they lost control.
“Batay dun sa imbestigasyon namin nakikagkarera ang mga biktima sa isa pang single motorcycle, at nang magpreno yung kanilang sinusundan nawalan sila ng control sa manibela kung kaya sila bumaliktad. Isa pa walang suot na helmet ang mga biktima nang maganap ang aksidente”. said Haduca.
