Supt. Raynold Rosero, Mariveles police chief, made the report to Mayor Jesse Concepcion and municipal administrator Luis Gonzales of the arrest of brothers Sammy, 43 and Danilo Rillo, 48, in their residence in Barangay Cabcaben, Mariveles.
Concepcion lauded the Mariveles police for its aggressive campaign against illegal drugs. Inspector Jose dela Cruz, Mariveles deputy police chief, said their main target were brothers Eric, 38 and Joel Rillo, 37, who, however, eluded arrest.
“Sammy and Danilo were caught in the act sniffing shabu and during the protective search, one small plastic sachet containing shabu was confiscated from each of the two,” dela Cruz said.
The search resulted in the confiscation of nine small plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and various illegal drug paraphernalia, police said.
“Nagkaroon ng resistance ang dalawa ngunit dahil sa maagap na pagkilos ng raiding team, wala na silang nagawa,” the deputy police chief said.
Dela Cruz said they have readied case for violation of Sections 11 and 15 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act against the two arrested and also for the two at-large.
