GAPAN CITY – Two men, believed to be victims of violence, were found dead in separate places in Nueva Ecija on Thursday, March 5.
One of the victims was a middle-aged man who wasrecovered “in a prone position without undergarments” by the side of a lagoon in Barangay Makabaklay, here at about 7 a.m.
Police said they were looking for possible witnesses to identify the victim and ascertain what really happened to him.
Over two hours later, farmer Renato Santos, resident of Barangay Casili, Anao, Tarlac was found dead on thetrailer of a hand tractor beside a farm road in Barangay Northwest Poblacion, Nampicuan, Nueva Ecija.
Investigators said the victim bore a laceration “believed to have been caused by a hard object” on the right portion of his head.
Police investigation is ongoing.
