OLONGAPO CITY — Two persons were arrested, while three eluded arrest when operatives of Police Station 6 of the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) raided a house where they were playing “tong-its” at Villas Street in Barangay Barretto here.
Capt. Wrigley T. Zafra, officer-in-charge of PS6, identified the arrested suspects as Nathaniel Lavado y Erenan, 53 and Bernardito Benitez y Bas, 59, both residents of Villas Street. Three of their co-players of “tong-its” eluded arrest.
Recovered from suspects were playing cards, chairs, table and money amounting to P835.
The suspects are now under the custody of PS6 facing charges for violation of PD 1602.
