BALER, Aurora — Some 100 scholars of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in the province received their allowances Friday.
Aurora Lone District Rep. Rommel Rico Angara, TESDA provincial director Genaro Ronald Ibay and Baler Mayor Rhett Ronan Angara led the awarding of the Training Support Fund in a ceremony held at Centro Baler.
“This is under our Special Training for Employment Program. Recipients include 25 scholars in Dressmaking NC II, 25 scholars in Hilot (Wellness Massage) NC II and 50 scholars in Assembly of Solar Night Light and Post Lamp,” Ibay said.
“The delivery of the training programs were in partnership with the A.I.T. Advance Institute of Tarlac City, Aida Roque Academy of Hair and Beauty, Inc. and Floriana Bao Sadian Technical Vocational School Foundation,” the official added.
Pursuant to the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, the activity followed social distancing and other health protocols. — Carlo Lorenzo J. Datu/PIA–3
