TARLAC CITY (PIA) — A total of 100 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Camiling, Tarlac completed the Entrepreneurship Mind-setting Seminar of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

It was organized by the town’s Negosyo Center, in partnership with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

DTI OIC-Provincial Director Florencia Balilo said the seminar aims to unlock the potential of participants in starting, developing and growing their future businesses.

“It was tailored to equip the participants with the knowledge they need to venture into business. This will not only harness them in starting a business but motivate them to become economically empowered,” she emphasized.

Negosyo Center Business Counselor Angelie Mikka Aquino discussed the rewards and risks of entrepreneurship as well as business opportunities to choose from.

She also mentioned the step-by-step process in registering a business.

4Ps beneficiary and seminar attendee Jessa Domingo said the seminar was beneficial since it broadened their knowledge in doing business.

“This will be of great use for us 4Ps beneficiaries as it gives us knowledge on how we can be independent and start our own business and create livelihood that will supplement our day-to-day expenses,” Domingo added.
