The “Pakyawan Na! 10.10 Live Selling for a Cause” spearheaded by Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas and Pampanga First District Chief Political Officer Reina Manuel generated a total of ₱57,600 in sales and ₱43,000 donations — all dedicated to help six-year-old brain tumor patient, Abraham Mamangun.
Held via the official Mahal na Reina Facebook page on Oct. 10, 2025, the live selling event featured pre-loved and brand-new items personally donated by Calaguas and Manuel, drawing strong community support that turned into impressive sales and generous pledges of three anonymous donors — ₱20,000, ₱10,000, and ₱3,000 — as well as a ₱10,000 contribution from First District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.

Raffle prizes also added excitement to the event — including microwave ovens from Cong. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. and Asec. Calaguas; Audrey Bags and Beautéderm products from Rei Anicoche-Tan; and cash prizes courtesy of Manuel.
The initiative also gained support from IBAC Woodcrafts, headed by Julio Joey Pamintuan, and designer Frederick Policarpio, who both donated brand-new products to be sold during the live event — with proceeds going directly to Abraham’s medical needs.
“We are beyond grateful to everyone who supported and made this event a success. Every sale, every raffle entry, and every donation goes a long way in Abraham’s fight for recovery,” Manuel shared.
Calaguas, meanwhile, underscored that serving the people takes many forms — sometimes, it begins with a simple act of helping.

“Public service is about compassion and action. What we witnessed during this live selling is the power of kindness in motion,” Calaguas said, noting that Cong. Lazatin also provided direct medical assistance to the child.
This latest initiative follows a series of successful fundraising live selling drives by Calaguas and Manuel, who have previously extended help to children diagnosed with hydrocephalus.
The duo also actively supports animal welfare programs and education projects, proving that small acts of kindness — when shared — can create a lasting impact.
