BALANGA CITY – The latest report from the provincial health office showed that
there was one new death and 32 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease
in Bataan as of Friday.
The latest fatality was a 73-year-old man from Orani town that brought to 1,421
the total number of fatalities from Covid–19 in the province.
Confirmed cases rose to 38,446 with 177 active cases with the addition of 32 new
infections: Balanga City – 11, Samal – 5, Mariveles -4, Dinalupihan – 3, Bagac – 2,
Limay – 2, Orion – 2, Pilar – 2, and Orani – 1.
The number of active cases rose from 56 on July 2 to 177 on July 15.
Those who recovered reached 36,848 after 12 new recoveries were recorded.
The PHO continuously reminded everyone to wash hands, wear face mask and
observe physical distancing of two meters.
