PILAR, Bataan- An 18-yer old driver of a motorcycle died while four others were injured when the motorcycles they were riding collided with one hitting a van parked in front of a funeral parlor in Sta. Rosa, Pilar town at dawn of Sunday.
Pilar police said Albert Sese, 18, of Tagumpay, Orani, Bataan was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bataan General Hospital in Balanga. The blue Honda motorcycle he was driving collided with a purple-colored motorcycle driven by Elena Lintag, 33, and bumped a Feroza van parked in front of Punzalan funeral parlor at about 1:15 in the morning.
Lintag suffered severe injuries on her leg and was rushed to the St. Joseph Hospital in Balanga where she underwent surgery. Her backrider, Maryanne Gomez, 28, of Poblacion, Pilar, was also confined at the St. Joseph Hospital for treatment of minor wounds.
Jayson dela Pena, 23, of Bantan Munti, Pilar and Randy Solomon, 22, of Bantan, Orion, Bataan who were backriding with Sese, were also rushed to the Bataan General Hospital.
Report showed that the fatality was heading to Balanga City when the motorcycle he was driving encroached into the lane of the incoming motorcycle, bumped into it and hit the parked vehicle.
