CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Police scored in separate buy-bust operations in Angeles City and Mabalacat City June 24.
A high-value target identified as Ismail Macatanong, 25, yielded three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing some 101 grams worth P686,800 in a buy-bust along Visayas Street, Jaoville Compound, Barangay Pandan, Angeles City.
Acting city police chief Col. Diosdado Fabian said members of the drug enforcement unit, Police Station 3, mobile force company, and the tactical motorcycle riding unit of the city police conducted the joint operation that resulted to Macatanong’s arrest and the confiscation of the illegal substance.
In Mabalacat City, police chief Col. Heryl Bruno reported to Police Region 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay that couple Rolanda Alpindo, 55 and
Rodencio Alpindo, 53 were arrested in a police sting at Orange St., St. Jude Purok 2, Barangay San Francisco, conducted by the city police and the regional drug enforcement unit.
Seized from the couple were six plastic sachets of shabu weighing 65 grams valued at P442,000. Rolanda, according to Bruno, is in the police drug watchlist and was previously arrested for drug pushing.
All the arrested suspects will face charges for violation of RA 9165. Baccay commended the police for their accomplishment even as he assured the
public that: “Continuous proactive operations are being carried out as PRO3 invigorates its efforts to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs in order to achieve its quest for a drug-free Central Luzon”. Punto News Team
