The Rotary Club of Central Pampanga emerged as one of the biggest winners during the Rotary International District 3790 District Conference 2026 held at Royce Hotel and Casino in Clark Freeport Zone on June 27.
Leading the recognition was Club President Dwayne Regie Lingat, who received the Leadership Award and was named Most Outstanding Club President.
The club was also recognized as the Top 1 Most Outstanding Club in the Small Club Category after earning numerous awards for its leadership, service projects, administration, public image, and humanitarian programs.
Among its major awards were Top Unity in Service Projects, Top Club in Administration, Top Club in Public Image, Club Excellence Award, EREY Club, 100% Polio Plus Society Club, Top 1 Polio Fund, Top 1 Annual Fund, Top 1 The Rotary Foundation, Top 2 Small Category Per Capita, Outstanding Club Bulletin for Star Gazette, Outstanding Rotary Community Corps for RCC SPARK, and the Rapid Relief Citation Award.
The club also received the Governor’s Citation for successfully hosting the Membership Development Seminar 2025.
Three members were also recognized as New Major Donors to The Rotary Foundation: DGND Carla Espinosa, Rtn. Jimi Espinosa, and PP Agnes Garcia.
The club’s youth organizations also earned top honors. The Rotaract Club of Central Pampanga Lantern Leaders, led by President Eryn Espinosa, was named Outstanding Rotaract Club, while the Interact Club of the University of the Assumption received the Outstanding Interact Club award.
The club was likewise honored with the Unite for Good Governor’s Awards in Rotary’s seven areas of focus: Peace Building and Conflict Prevention, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, Community Economic Development, and Environment.
Several members also received individual distinctions. Secretary Jon Kevin Pilea was named Most Outstanding Club Secretary, while Assistant Governor Carla Espinosa earned two of the conference’s highest individual honors as Most Outstanding Assistant Governor and Most Outstanding Rotarian. Past President Coney Miclat received the Most Outstanding Cluster Secretary award, and Past President Ruben Sy was honored with the prestigious Golden Wheel Lifetime Citation Award.
The recognition highlights the Rotary Club of Central Pampanga’s continued excellence in leadership, service, and humanitarian work, inspiring Rotarians to unite for good and create lasting change in their communities.
