ANGELES CITY – An owner of biggest piggery farm in Pangasinan was found dead inside a motel room here on Friday and his alleged killers were immediately arrested by responding policemen.
Senior Supt. Danny Bautista, city police director, identified the victim as Richard So, 55, who owns the Goldon Farm in Carmen, Pangasinan. So was found dead bathing in his own blood at Executive Room 49 of Haven Hotel in Barangay Pulung Maragul, here at about 1:00 p.m.
Bautista identified the suspects as Archimedes Peralta David, 22, and Ellaine Dizon Peralta, 21, both of Sta. Lucia Resettlement, Magalang.
The suspects were charged with robbery with homicide case, said Bautista. He added that David and Peralta were arrested by alert cops shortly after leaving the hotel.
Bautista disclosed that they confiscated from the suspects a laptop, digital camera and other items believed to be owned by So. He added that hotel employees also identified the suspects as the persons who were with So at the motel on the day of the crime.
Bautista said they recovered from the crime scene a six-inch long knife and lead pipe about 18 inches long.
The city director said he has yet to see the autopsy report. But he was told that So had been stabbed at least six times and was hit by the lead pipe at least twice.
So co-owns Haven hotel with his relative, Freddie So, it was learned.
So was a member of the Mimosa Golf and Country Club in Clark and is widely known businessman in Tarlac and Pangasinan. He is also reportedly a close friend of Eduardo “Danding” Cojuango of the San Miguel Corp.
