MABALACAT CITY – “No Mabalaqueño will be left behind in the Covid-19 vaccination efforts of the city government.”

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo’s express policy of vax inclusivity earlier realized in those in the peripherals such as tricycle drivers, workers in SMEs – after the priority groups – found its latest manifestation in the inoculation of 300 Mabalaqueño inmates at the Angeles City District Jail on Friday.

Recently, Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año assured the public that PDLs are included in the national vaccination program.

Based on DILG’s data, a total of 35 percent of 122,489 PDLs across 467 BJMP detention facilities nationwide have been inoculated against the dreaded disease.

For his part, Garbo vowed to exhaust all available ways to vaccinate Mabalacat City’s eligible population to achieve herd immunity before the year ends.
