One more day to go!

The Mabalacat City Government finalizes the details and finishing touches on its Christmas Village a day before the grand launch on December 2.

With a theme ‘Magarbong Crismas 2022,’ the holiday village located at the 3-hectare open lot beside San Raphael Church, MacArthur Highway in barangay Mabiga, features various attractions including a 30-foot giant Christmas tree, a 9-foot long Santa Claus statue and life-sized candy canes, and presents for everyone to enjoy.

The Mabalacat City Christmas Village will also house carnival rides, inflatable playground and bazaars as well as Christmas-themed musical presentations, concerts and programs.

Likewise, MCG will also hold Christmas-themed costume competitions for kids and pets/pet owners, a chorale competition, dance contest, parlor games and more.

The MCG-General Services Office, City Engineer’s Office, CHO, Public Safety Office, MCTEG, City Planning, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, CDRRMO, CIO, and City Tourism and Promotions Office, in partnership with the Sibul ning Kalalangan artist group, worked hand-in-hand in making sure that the Christmas Village is set to be launched to the public.

City Administrator Franco Alejo Madlangbayan also inspected the area days prior to ensure the safety and security of Mabalaquenians and non-Mabalaquenian visitors.

The Mabalacat City Christmas Village will officially be opened in a ceremony on December 02 at 5:00 p.m. This will be followed with a comedy show/sing along, paskong harana and a grand fireworks display.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo along with the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, headed by Vice Mayor Gerald Guttrie Aquino, the MCG department heads and local government employees are also expected to grace the said event.
