CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — A total of 4,610 Aeta beneficiaries from the municipalities of Floridablanca and Porac in Pampanga received 25 kilograms of rice each under the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., reinforcing the administration’s commitment to ensuring that no Filipino community is left behind.
The rice distribution, facilitated by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, forms part of the national government’s continuing efforts to provide food assistance to vulnerable sectors, particularly indigenous peoples living in upland communities.
In addition to the rice subsidy, about 1,500 Aeta beneficiaries also received hot porridge and bread through a feeding program conducted alongside the distribution activity.
Governor Lilia Pineda expressed her gratitude to President Marcos for the continued support extended to Kapampangans through the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Program.
“Pasalamat tayo kay President BBM para doon sa kalahating kaban ng bigas at bibigyan pa po namin kayo ulit na galing din sa Malacañang,” Pineda said.
She emphasized that the assistance from Malacañang continues to benefit thousands of families across Pampanga, particularly those belonging to underserved and geographically isolated communities.
The Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Program is among the flagship initiatives of the Marcos administration aimed at improving food security and ensuring that government assistance reaches communities most in need, including indigenous peoples and other vulnerable sectors.
