BALANGA CITY — The number of vaccinees in this province for the three-day national vaccination drive under the Department of Health’s Bayanihan, Bakunahan ending Wednesday reached 43,394.

Gov. Albert Garcia announced that report showed Bataan was leading in Central Luzon as the province with the most number of individuals receiving the vaccines against the coronavirus disease for three days.

The governor said the number included those inoculated with the first and second doses and the booster shot in 29 vaccination sites, mobile vax on wheels and other inoculation areas in 11 towns and one city in the province.

The vaccination drive is part of the provincial government’s Handog para sa Bakunadong Bataeno where all those vaccinated during the three-day period received five kilos of rice each.

The governor said the free rice distribution will go on until Friday, Dec. 3.

Available record showed that in addition to 43,394 vaccinated for three days, 824,458 individuals have already been inoculated with 357,541 fully vaccinated from the 463,077 who have received the first dose.
