“THIS INITIATIVE aims to transform this area into a green avenue. Since this section of JASA is the show window among commuters passing by the City of San Fernando, it is appropriate that we make the area as pleasing to the eye as possible.”
So spake the Honorable City Mayor Oscar S. Rodriguez, as he broke ground for the “Greening of Jose Abad Santos Avenue Project” last week at the highway’s rotunda fronting the Paskuhan Village.
A core component of the environmental agenda of the Rodriguez administration, the project aims to landscape the road with ornamental plants and trees. It is to be implemented by the city government in coordination with the multi-sectoral government council and the El Circulo Fernandino.
