A NISSAN Patrol sports utility vehicle was carjacked by five armed men right infront of the house of its owner at St. Jude Village in the City of San Fernando early dawn Tuesday last week.
Also taken from the victims was a bag containing some P587,000 in cash and jewelry.
Just your usual carjacking-with-heist case there. Were not for the fact that St. Jude Village has a rather strict security process at its only gate, and its being the early morning walking area of the Honorable Oscar S. Rodriguez, the village barely 200 steaps from his house.
So what is happening in your backyard, Mister Mayor?
To use the favorite expression of the venerable veteran journalist Rizal Policarpio: “Ito’y isang mariing sampal sa mukha mo Mayor Oca.”
