Supremely satisfied burger experience at Brothers Burgers Marquee Mall

Brothers Burgers founded by siblings Daniel, Martin and Enrique Jose in June 1999, at the height of the Asian financial crisis. While it may seem unwise to start a business during that difficult period, the brothers agreed that it was an idea and opportunity whose time has come. “It was a big risk, selling products at a higher price point when many people were tightening their belts”, recalls Daniel “DJ” Jose, VP for Administration and Finance. “But we believed that, like us, many Filipinos were tired of the same old burgers and were willing to try something new”.

So it was with some trepidation, but a lot of confidence, that Brothers Burgers opened its first branch in Ortigas. In time and through positive word-of-mouth, news of their unique burgers spread and customers soon came in droves. “We had families come from as far as Alabang and Laguna to eat at our store”, enthuses Martin Jose, VP for Marketing and Franchising. “That’s when we knew that the designer burger concept was something that Filipinos have long been waiting for”.

While it took the siblings’ admirable initiative to start the business, it was undoubtedly their burgers that made customers sit up and take notice. While other chains were content to churn out the same old burgers, Brothers set itself apart by raising the bar on product quality, innovation and customer satisfaction. Last February 12, 2010 Brothers Burgers formally opened its first branch in Central Luzon at Marquee Mall, attended by Brother Burgers management team and other special guests. The program started with a solemn mass, followed by the symbolic Big Burger slicing and then the much awaited burger experience wherein most of the visitors were served with the all time favorite designer burger - the WAGYU Burger.
