CDC holds tree planting activity in celebration of its 25th year

CLARK FREEPORT— More than 300 seedlings of tropical trees were planted along Creekside road of this Freeport in a tree planting activity organized by Clark Development Corporation (CDC).

CDC employees participated in the said activity where they planted seedlings of Ilang-ilang and Mahogany. Service awardees who have reached five, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years also took part in the said event.

According to CDC Environmental Manager Engr. Rogelio M. Magat, the tree planting activity is one of the activities lined-up in commemoration of the state-owned firm’s 25th anniversary.

In addition, it is also a part of the unceasing efforts of CDC on its pledge of preserving the environment. CDC will also hold a fun walk and fun run on April 13 and a film showing from April 16 to 17.

It will also have its anniversary celebration on April 20 which will coincide with the recognition of service awardees.

Its annual jobs fair will take place on April 27 at SM City Clark.

The state-owned firm lead by its President- CEO Noel F. Manankil has remained true to its mission of creating productive economic activity which includes employment, export and investment.

Currently, this Freeport is home to 949 locators and more than 108,000 employees.
