ABS-CBN executive Charo Santos-Concio will be seen again on the big screen.

This time, she will be working with Bea Alonzo for a horror movie titled Eerie. A story conference for the new movie was held last December 11.

The film will be directed by Mikhail Red, who helmed the Academy Awards 2018 Best Foreign Language film entry Birdshot.

This is Charo’s first horror film after Itim, which was shown in 1976.

On Instagram, Charo posted a short video showing the highlights of the story conference she attended with Bea.

The former ABS-CBN President wrote in her caption, “I did ITIM in 1976, I was 20 years old then. After almost 4 decades, I’m doing another horror film, and guess what? my director, @ red_mikhail, is 26 years old, but one of the most promising young directors now! “And of course, who wouldn’t be thrilled to work with @beaalonzo, one of the most competent actresses of her generation. Hope you will all be as excited as I am. #grateful #MyJourney”

Aside from Eerie, Charo is also doing another movie directed by Lav Diaz.

The current Chief Content Officer of ABSCBN returned to doing films in 2016 via the film Ang Babaeng Humayo, which won the Golden Lion award at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.
