FOR ALL the good things currently happening at the Clark airport, the negation that is the P2.9 billion allotment for the development of the Clark airport that has remained unobligated, and thus – stakeholders fear – its reversion to the general fund.

Former 1st District Rep. Joseller “Yeng” Guiao drew the first cry over this impending “wastage,” seconded by Angeles City Councilor Jay Sangil which resulted to a council resolution enjoining the Department of Transportation to “immediately transfer” the funds to the CIAC.

So far, only silence from the otherwise braggadociously loquacious DOTr.

Something is cooking here. And it smells fishy.
