THIS CENTURY OLD TREE fell on the parade grounds at Clark Freeport, Pampanga after its roots apparently weakened and failed to protest it from both wind and gravity.

Clark is known for its huge trees dating about a hundred years old or more, mostly planted by the Americans when they first set foot on their former military station at Clark at the turn of the 20th century. Photo by Ding Cervantes
